YouTube Earnings Calculator India: estimate your revenue in ₹
YouTube money confuses most Indian creators because the dashboard speaks in dollars and the advice online assumes a US audience. An Indian channel earning the same views as an American one takes home a fraction of the ad revenue, so a number you read on some global calculator sets you up for disappointment.
This one runs on Indian CPMs. Add your monthly views, your subscribers and your niche, set how much of your audience sits in India, and you get AdSense, Shorts and sponsorship figures in rupees, plus a total for the month.

How it works
Monthly views, subscribers and the views a typical video pulls. Pull these from YouTube Studio for the last 28 days.
An audience that is mostly Indian earns a lower CPM than one with US or UK viewers. The slider adjusts the estimate to match where your viewers actually are.
Long-form, Shorts or a mix. Shorts earn a tiny fraction of long-form per view, so the split matters a lot for the final figure.
How we work out the numbers
AdSense income comes from your CPM, the amount advertisers pay per thousand ad views, times your views, minus YouTube's 45 percent cut. Indian CPMs vary hard by niche: a finance channel sees ₹150 to ₹400, tech ₹100 to ₹300, while entertainment sits at ₹20 to ₹80. We apply the band for your niche, then multiply by 0.55 to land on RPM, what reaches you.
Audience location is the other big lever. US and UK viewers are worth several times more to advertisers than Indian viewers, so a channel with a quarter of its audience abroad earns far above its view count alone. The slider weights your CPM accordingly.
Shorts run on a shared revenue pool with no mid-roll ads, so they pay a token amount per view. Sponsorships are calculated separately at roughly ₹50 to ₹150 per thousand video views, nudged by niche, since that is where the real money sits for most Indian channels.
Getting the most out of your rate
Stop chasing views and start chasing watch time on the right videos. A finance or tech video that holds viewers through a mid-roll ad earns several times what a viral entertainment Short earns, even at a tenth of the views. The CPM gap between niches is wider than most creators realise.
Build sponsorships before AdSense carries you. For a channel under half a million views a month, brand deals usually out-earn ad revenue, and they do not depend on the algorithm feeding you a good month. Two integrations a month can beat a full month of AdSense.
Watch your fourth quarter. Advertiser budgets spike from October to December around the festive season, so your RPM climbs even if views stay flat. Plan your highest-effort, most sponsor-friendly videos for that window.
